NPRA apoya manifestantes encontra de tácticas inhumanas de ICE

La Agenda Nacional Puertorriqueña (NPRA, por sus siglas en inglés), una alianza no partidista de organizaciones puertorriqueñas en los Estados Unidos, anunció que se solidariza con todos los manifestantes pacíficos en todo el país que alzan su voz contra las políticas migratorias inhumanas y las tácticas agresivas empleadas por ICE, la agencia de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas.

 Separar familias y aterrorizar comunidades inmigrantes no solo es cruel, sino que también es antiestadounidense. Estas acciones amenazan el tejido mismo de una nación construida por inmigrantes y violan los derechos humanos fundamentales. Las redadas y detenciones selectivas están generando un caos innecesario y causando traumas duraderos en niños y familias cuyo único “delito” es buscar seguridad, oportunidades, y en muchos casos, la ciudadanía legal y una vida mejor.

The National Puerto Rican Agenda (NPRA),  a nonpartisan alliance of state-side Puerto Rican organizations, announced it stands in solidarity with all the peaceful protestors across the country who are speaking out against the inhumane immigration policies and the aggressive tactics employed by ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Breaking up families and terrorizing immigrant communities is not only cruel it is un-American. These actions threaten the very fabric of a nation built by immigrants and violate basic human rights. The targeted raids and detentions are creating unnecessary chaos and inflicting long lasting trauma on children and families whose only "crime" is seeking safety, opportunity, some in the midst of seeking legal citizenship and a better life.
